This 7"x9" photograph of The Champ, Joe Louis, was taken just days before his legendary fight against Billy Conn on June 18, 1941 at the Polo Grounds. This exceptional image was snapped by the Associated Press on June 12 and shows a shirtless Louis resting during training sessions in Greenwood Lake, New York. Just six days later, Louis defended his heavyweight championship with a 13th-round knockout of Conn. This photo is in great condition with sharp corners all around. It is, however, off centered around the thin white border that surrounds it. Don't miss this chance to own a piece of boxing history!
