This brass picture frame was likely given to members of the Harvard football team in the years surrounding World War I. With the frame itself measuring just short of 4x5", the glass space displaying the photo measures just over 3x2". In exceptionally good condition, this frame is made entirely of brass, except for the raised enamel figures which adorn the outer rim of the front of the frame. These figures include five identical football figures who are running with a football, as well as a maroon Harvard pennant above the photo and a waving American flag at the bottom. The photo of the football player has been added for display purposes.
