This set of his-and-her kimonos were worn by Major League infielder Harold Burton "Rabbit" Warstler and his wife during their baseball Tour of Japan in 1934. Popularized in the 1930's, such tours included some of the most well-known players in the history of the game. Rabbit's kimono was custom made for the American professional baseball players who were on the tour. It is a baseball-themed robe in excellent condition with Japanese writing on the front and "MIZUNO" on the back. His wife's robe, also in excellent shape, was store-bought while she was on the trip. Bid now or say "Sayonara!" to this lot!
