This exceptional studio photo on cardboard mount is overall 11x14". The sterling image of this burly man is "Copyright 1908 By Moffet Studios Chicago," and signed in the bottom margin "To President &Mrs. Gomez with best wishes Wm. H. Taft." Taft as President signed the photo to "President" Gomez for Jose Miguel Gomez. Both men served from 1909-13. There has been some well-done restoration to the photo, which affects the second line of the inscription and the "Wm." Otherwise has some fixing o/w EX and overall magnificent.
