This authentic road grey Cincinnati Reds uniform was worn by legendary player and broadcaster Joe Nuxhall when he pitched batting practice for the ballclub after his playing career had ended. The jersey - from 1982 - is a road grey pullover and reads "CINCINNATI" across the chest and "NUXHALL" on the back. The number 39 is also displayed on the front and back of the jersey. The jersey is Wilson size 50 and has a "82 1" strip tag on the front tail. The pants, featuring a red-and-white striped waistband, are from 1979 and have a "39 26 79 2" strip tag and Wilson size 42 tag sewn on the inside. After his playing days were through, Nuxhall served as Reds radio announcer for the better part of four decades.
