From the New York Islanders' dynasty of the early '80s comes this fantastic Sher-Wood stick that features roughly 16 ball-point signatures pressed into the wood from players and coaches on the 1982-83 team that captured its fourth straight Stanley Cup. Among the notable names here are Bob Nystrom, Denis Potvin, Clark Gillies, Duane Sutter, Brent Sutter, Billy Carroll and Bob Bourne. This item was won in a Nassau County celebration raffle in the summer of 1983, presented to the winner by players and team executives, who sanctioned the raffle. The all-wood stick shows great use and features tape on both the blade and handle, some of which is almost unraveled.
