Baseball's Iron Man - Cal Ripken, Jr. - shattered Lou Gehrig's record for consecutive games played with 2,632, but even the most ardent baseball fans may be unaware of Ripken's participation in the Caribbean Leagues. Prior to his major league debut in 1982, the future Hall of Famer spent two winters honing his craft in Puerto Rico, helping lead his team, Caguas, capture a championship in 1981. These game-used pants were sent down from the Orioles and show very good use. Inside is the MLB Authentic Majestic label and a strip identifying "#8 Ripken 38-40 34 00." Buttons and zipper on the front are in good shape. We obtained these pants directly from the owner of the Puerto Rican baseball team.
