This lot may very well be a pristine baseball program from the 1880 Princeton vs. Yale baseball game, which took place Wednesday, June 9, 1880 at Hamilton Park, but it should also be special to football historians because it has the Father of American Football, Walter Camp, batting 5th in the Yale lineup, a game in which Camp hit three home runs in three consecutive at bats. The program is unscored and in EX-MT condition and comes with a published copy of the short story "Walter Camp and His Gridiron Game" from the October 1961 issue of American Heritage Magazine.
