The city of Atlanta won its first major sports championship in 1995 when the Braves defeated the Cleveland Indians for the World Series title. As a result, a 10-Karat gold ring such as this one was given to each player on the roster; this one coming from former major leaguer Jerry Nyman, who was on the team staff. The ring is the real deal with genuine diamonds, and the Jostens maker's mark is stamped on the inside band. The wording around the face of the ring reads: "ATLANTA BRAVES 1995 WORLD CHAMPIONS." One side reads "NYMAN STAFF" with the Braves logo in between. The other panel depicts the World Series trophy and the phrase "TEAM OF THE '90s." This ring was originally obtained directly from Nyman and is in NRMT condition. As a side note, Atlanta failed to win another World Series despite tremendous pitching staffs and playoff appearances in every full season between 1991 and 2005. Size 11.5.
