Signed by both Koufax and Holland in 9/10 silver paint pen, "The Stare" shows Koufax firing an intense glare towards home as he prepares to launch one his many vicious pitches upon the unsuspecting batter. Holland has said he does not paint sports or the stars who play them, but rather the incredible real people who rise above the norm and ascend to higher echelons of human ability.
