Dodger great Pee Wee Reese is displayed here in all his double-play turning, line-drive snagging glory by artist Arthur Miller. The oil-on-board has been framed to 24.5x35.5" and features a crouching Reese preparing to throw a baseball. Miller has painstakingly created an almost photorealistic depiction of the famed shortstop. Reese played his entire career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, and was selected to 10 straight All-Star Teams during that time. Reese also won the 1955 and 1959 World Series, and was eventually elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. Painting is NRMT, and has Miller's signature on both the front and back. Dated 1998.
