This lot consists of two fabulous comic strip dailies of Cotton Woods: one is by great baseball illustrator Ray Gotto and the other by Gotto and Don Sherwood (signed by Sherwood alone). Gotto is perhaps most famous for the designing the New York Mets classic skyline logo. Both strips are EX and comes from a Midwest sports collector who bought these in the 1970s - they have not seen the light of day since.
