This incredible recently-discovered poster of Muhammad Ali is from his 1972 bout against Mac Foster in the first major prize fight ever held in Asia. The 28x20" poster features a screaming Ali in stylized period pop art with "Black Power" written in Japanese kanji characters. Only three specimens of this poster are known to exist, and this was the most expensive poster sold at the 1997 Christie's auction of the Ronnie Paloger Muhammad Ali Collection. This particular piece is from the collection of a noted sportswriter who attended the bout and brought it home from Tokyo. Poster colors are slightly faded, but is otherwise in NRMT condition. Comes with original wood frame.
