This lot features more than 500 pages from original scripts and various notes from the short-lived 1976 television series “Ball Four.” Based on the noted baseball book by Jim Bouton, the series was written by noted New York sports columnist Vic Ziegel. There are literally hundreds of pages of material including the original pilot, episodes, supporting characters, plot information and production meeting notes and the all-important “Manifesto.” All come with original notes by Ziegel. The show was unsuccessful and CBS canceled it after just five episodes. This lot preserves it for baseball fans.
