Brilliant collection of handwritten letters from the man who ruled the game of "inside baseball". His play prompted the 1901 National League regarding foul balls. He passed away in 1959. The lot includes five
1902-1907 letters written on the road with the Phils and talk of his hatred for traveling and winning games. They even include some news clippings. One even has the only "Roy Thomas" full signature in the collection. Plus, there are 11 other letters from Roy, all to his daughter in 1938. Finally, the lot includes fifteen 1907 letters from his wife and daughter.
