Fernand Joseph Contandin, aka Fernandel, was France's top comic actor and singer for over 40 years, crossing over and entertaining American audiences in films such as "Around the World in Eighty Days" and "Paris Holiday." These (4) 11x14" black and white photographs from 1948, 1953 and 1963 include Philippe Halsman stamps on the back, as well as the star's name handwritten by Halsman in pencil. They are VG with imperfections such as creases and scratches.
