Lot Description  

Joe Louis was part great boxer and part American hero. These three posters of "The Brown Bomber" include a promotion to see pictures of the first Louis bout with Max Schmeling. Also included are a compelling poster of Louis as a private in the U.S. Army and an advertisement for motion picture "The Joe Louis Story". The poster for Private Louis is 18x25", the poster for the "Joe Louis Story" is 29x22" and the poster for Louis vs. Schmeling is 14x22".
