These little, bronze-colored plastic busts of baseball players are quite a special lot. The plaks were issued in three-player sprues, or molds/casts, and the players are connected the way model cars or airplane parts are. They originally were packaged with the wax pack, a checklist, and chewing gum. These little gems feature: Carl Yastrzemski, Harmon Killebrew, and Roberto Clemente. The rumor still flying around is that out of the list of 24 players, only 19 plaks were ever manufactured and known to exist.
