Jack Dempsey may be the fighter most associated with the Golden Age of Boxing. He ushered in the Roaring Twenties winning the heavyweight crown from Jess Willard in 1919. What followed were monstrous bouts with Carpentier, Gibbons, Firpo among others and two titantic battles with Gene Tunney. Offered here is an original plaster cast of the big right hand of Jack Dempsey. Cast by Dr. Walter Jacobs with his markings at the wrist. A few paint chips, otherwise fine. A chance to own a cast from a fist that changed boxing. Extremely rare.
