Johnny Evers, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1946, was a key player on the last Chicago Cubs team to win the World Series in 1908 (Tinker to Evers to Chance). Rabbit Maranville was a shortstop that played 23 seasons in the Major Leagues and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1954. Both men managed the Chicago Cubs during their careers.
