This mini-version of the World Series trophy was presented to Pirates players at some time after 1960. This particular trophy was given to star left-handed pitcher Harvey Haddix, who was a 3-time Gold Glove Award winner and who was a 3-time All-Star. Haddix was on the 1960 Pirates team when they won the World Series, and he was the winning pitcher of Game Seven as a reliever. The trophy measures approximately 7" in diameter and stands 11" tall. It has two press pins attached: a 1960 NY Yankees World Series pin and a 1960 Pirates pin. Around the base it says, "World Champions Pittsburgh Pirates 1960". The label underneath the trophy reads, "Awards by Balfour, Attleboro, Mass.". EX-MT condition. LOA from Haddix' family.
