After joining the Blackhawks from the Philadelphia Flyers on February 7, 1992, Tony Horacek donned this jersey in Chicago Stadium while playing 12 regular season games and two Stanley Cup Playoffs games. Although Horacek did not play in any of the four 1992 Stanley Cup Finals games, this beautiful Hawks jersey dons the 1992 Stanley Cup Finals patch sewn onto an Ultrafil patch with the NHL 75th Anniversary patch underneath. Solid use throughout with stick marks across the front and a large blood stain at the base of the crest. Red paint transfer and more stick marks on the back right sleeve. Heavier stick marks under the left arm. Light pilling inside the back hem where the fight strap hangs as well as in both sleeves. Maska Ultrafil and size 54 tagging in the neck. CCM and NHL logos embroidered on the back right hem. Horacek’s name is written on the back in black marker underneath the current nameplate. Due to his mid-season arrival, the Chicago equipment staff likely did not have time to make up a formal nameplate so they etched his surname in black marker.
