This lot contains two items: a Baltimore Orioles batting helmet and a two-tone Louisville Slugger bat, both signed by Cal Ripken Jr. The helmet is black with the Oriole bird logo on the front; the brim is signed "Cal Ripken Jr. MVP," numbered 81/250, and has a postage stamp and a Seattle WA postmark dated July 10, 2001 to the left of the signature. The bat is a Louisville Slugger P72 Cal Ripken Jr. model inscribed "Cal Ripken Jr. 1982 AL ROY" in gold Sharpie. This gorgeous bat also features a Steiner hologram.
