The crack and checking have been repaired with vintage nails. You can see many ball marks and ball stitch impressions on the right, left, and back barrel. Also visible are cleat marks on the right barrel. An area on the right barrel was planned to receive factory side writing, and lettering in vintage grease pencil in faintly visible.
