From head-to-toe (or, rather, feet) this original Yankee Stadium flat back seat is a beautiful piece for the stadium collector. Imagine the different people that sat here to witness the Yanks defeat countless teams, from the Depression and World War II era, to the Elvis and Woodstock days. It represents all Yankee fans through the years. Its gold plaque (placed over the seat number) reads, "Yankee Stadium, 'The House That Ruth Built', -50th-, Anniversary 1923-1973, Bronx, N.Y." It measures 24 x 12 x 31". It has been painted blue, yet when you pull down the wooden seat some paint chipping is evident, revealing a previous coat of mint green.
