This bat was used by then-42 year old first baseman Pete Rose in the 1983 World Series, which was also known as "The I-95 Series", where the Baltimore Orioles took on the Philadelphia Phillies and beat them 4-1. This bat measures 33 1/2" in length and weighs 32 oz. This Mizuno PR 4000 bat shows slight wood separation, with a stamped "a" in the knob. The finish has been wiped off the barrel area. The photo shows Pete Rose holding this bat in the World Series dugout, and can be seen in Getty Images (#s 78150510 and 78150511). The bat comes with a letter from Al Holland, who was on the Phillies with Pete Rose. He collected bats from great hitters. Also comes with a 1983 Topps card of Al Holland that he has signed. LOA.
