This gorgeous bronze sculpture of Yankees great Mickey Mantle in his full swing wearing the iconic number 7 home pinstripes is absolutely the nicest Mantle bronze we have seen. Created by Nick Calcagno, Ph.D., a well-known artist and sculptor from Oklahoma who passed away recently, the walnut base of the sculpture measures 6 x 19" and the piece is 21" in height. Perhaps it's the Oklahoma connection between artist and subject, but this bronze really seems to come to life. Not many of these sculptures were made; this is a rare opportunity to own such a beautiful display piece. A must for the Mantle collector.
