One of the best baseball card related advertising pieces we have seen. Outstanding advertising clock is by Baird who exclusively made these jessum on wood clocks that advertised a slew of products from Coca Cola to the Brooklyn Dodgers (which we sold about five years ago for nearly $20,000). The clock is made of two concentric circles. The large circle at top features stunning logo, "Mayo TobaccoaSmokeaChew." Letters are raised and all hand-painted in gilt against a deep red background. Bottom circle has glass circle die-cut in the center to allow you to see the swinging pendulum. Face of the clock is marked "Baird Clock Company Plattsburgh NY." The clock is run-ning but does not keep perfect time. Excellent condition and 30" tall. One of the coolest display pieces you may see for a while.
