These original orchestral arrangements were used for per-formances and recordings by the great Lady Day. Songs include Lover Come Back (2), and All of Me (3), Nobody's Business, Porgy, Too Marvelous (2). On the top of each is clearly printed "Billie Holiday." All are handwritten with unmarked multi-page handwritten arrangements for Sometimes I'm Happy, All of Me, Too Marvelous, Sleepy Time Down South and Glad to Be Unhappy (also used by Billie). In addition there are handwritten music for post death songs by Marcel Daniels and her husband Louis McKay (Legend of Lady Day, Lady Day, etc.). A total of 26 pieces from the personal effects of legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday, "the greatest jazz singer there ever was." EX+ over-all. Obtained from her last husband, Louis McCay.
