This original "white matte" award for "Mad Dogs & Englishmen," the double live album that contained Cocker's powerful Beatles cover, "A Little Help From My Friends," is presented to A&M Records. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard chart and was certified gold on 8/31/70. It contains a "Disc Award, Ltd." disc, typical of A&M awards throughout the 1970's. While the frame has numerous scratches and dings, this is typical of the soft wood molding used to manufacture awards from the "white matte" era. The original hanging hardware and "New York Frame And Picture Co." sticker are missing from the reverse.
