A veteran of the 1969 World Championship team, Mets infielder Wayne Garrett wore this all-original flannel road jersey during the 1970 baseball season. The jersey has "NEW YORK" across the front in blue felt on orange tackle twill, with Garrett's number 11 below the letters, also in blue felt. Garrett has signed the jersey in blue sharpie on the front under his number 11, which also appears on the back of the jersey in blue on orange tackle twill. There is a Mets patch on the left sleeve and a strip tag reading "11-40-70 Set 1" sewn into the collar. A Wilson size 40 tag is sewn on the left front tail. Jersey shows fine use and condition.
