This note from Judy Garland to one Errol C. Dugre is typewritten on 6 1/4 x 9" stationery and reads "Dear Errol: As you may have read, I leave in a few days for England to make a film. This, then, is but a note in haste, but with great appreciation, for your thoughtful card. I couldn't be feeling better. Many thanks, Judy Garland.” Garland signed the note in blue ink. The letter itself is undated, but the 6.5 x 3 3/4" envelope is postmarked 17 May 1962. The letter, envelope, and a 6 1/4 x 8 1/4" photo of Garland as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz are framed to 20 x 20".
