Joe Louis was born on May 13, 1914 in Lafayette, Alabama. On June 22, 1937 he won the World Heavyweight Title from James J. Braddock. He retired after losing to Rocky Marciano on October 26, 1951. His final record was 63-3. Presented here is a vintage 1940's Joe Louis souvenir pennant. This is a felt illustrated pennant. Navy blue with gold lettering, trims and the original tails. 26" long. Bold color. Letters and trim well intact. Extremely rare version.
