On April 2, 1943 at Madison Square Garden in New York World Lightweight Champion Beau Jack squared off against former multi champion, Henry Armstrong in a non title affair. Jack won a 10 round decision. Presented here is a rare on site poster from this event. This poster pictures both fighters. It is paper, which has been linen backed and measures 26" x 41" (one sheet). The poster has crisp images. Very minor fading of the color. There are no creases, rips or tears. Virtually no soiling. A fine example of an extremely rare and important on site poster featuring two of the best in boxing in the 1940’s.
