These rare, sweat-stained gloves show great usage, with seven lucky holes toward the fingertips of the right glove. Worn somewhere between 1892 and 1894, both left and right gloves by A.J. Reach have "The Corbetts" stamped on the wrists, and "10" stamped above that. Pamphlet (VG) has a likeness of Corbett and states that these are just like the ones that he used in all of his fights and exhibitions. The inside pamphlet says that these A.J. Reach Co.'s #10 "Corbett" boxing gloves are "made of the best French Wine Glove Kid and filled with the best Curled Hair..." Early fighter-endorsed products like this are very scarce. Definitely appear well used and grade VG.
