From 1908-1957 (as well as a brief revival in the mid sixties), Baseball Magazine was an important source of information on the sport, and covered every aspect of the game. This lot, a collection of 18 professionally bound volumes, begins with the September 1920 issue and takes the reader on a trip through baseball history to August 1938. The sheer amount of information creates a huge historical and material value, making this a baseball historian's dream come true. The first few years worth of volumes (1920-1923) have very small amounts of writing on the covers, but the rest of the issues are in extremely nice condition, with most grading NRMT but for the sizing to be fit into the bound volumes.
