From what would turn out to be his final season in Pittsburgh, this Home (white) jersey from Jaromir Jagr is not short on game use. Dozens of stick marks across the front including the lower hem and crest. Jagr’s Captain’s “C” proudly adorns the left chest. The back of the right sleeve displays heavy stick marks and the light blue board paint that is attributed to Mellon Arena in the Steel City. Even more stick marks litter the back left sleeve with un-repaired holes and red and blue paint transfers. The fronts of both sleeves show scattered stick marks with the left sleeve cuff showing the heavier markings. CCM Air-Knit size 56 jersey with Jagr’s “68” and “C” in black marker on the manufacturer size tag in the neck. “1001 Pts” also is written twice inside the collar notating this is the jersey Jagr was wearing when he notched the 1001th point of his NHL career. Also, photo-matched to the December 27th, 2000 game vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs. This was a very important game as it was Mario Lemieux's first game back after his retirement. A fine example from this future Hall of Famer.
