Captain Class enjoyed some of his finest seasons in the Steel City from 1991 to 1998. This Starter knit jersey ranks up there with the nicest use of any during his tenure with the Penguins. Heavy stick marks across the lower front and noticeable stick marks on the crest. A sizable unrepaired hole on the lower left side. Alternate Captain’s “A” sewn onto the left chest. Size "54-R" tagging in neck along with Starter and Center Ice Authentic Collection tagging. Red paint transfer on the upper right front arm. More heavy stick marks, un-repaired holes, abrasions, and pilling on both sleeves. One heavy thread repair near the numbers on each sleeve. Excellent pilling on the outside left elbow as these Starter knit jerseys carried pilling nicely. Dark stick marks on the back along with the Starter and NHL logos embroidered on the back hem. Pilling inside the lower back hem where the fight strap hangs. A Hall of Fame caliber jersey of a 2007 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee.
