Perhaps the most extravagant menu we've seen, this cast iron rarity uses the majority of the face to list the dishes available, with lettering framing at top and bottom reading, "Dinner To Lehigh Foot Ball Team - Eagle Hotel, Dec. 18, 02." Back is even more intriguing, with the school names and date of the meeting at top, and rosters by position for each team below. The end result is absolutely stunning, one of the most intriguing football pieces we've handled, and certainly the best regarding this century-plus-old rivalry. In this modern age of high-stakes college ball we see nothing that can compare to this simply elegant piece.
