6 x 8'' boxing pose original wire photo boldly signed "Best Wishes to Reg from Randy Turpin 16-3-48." After winning several titles in Europe as an amateur he defeated Sugar Ray Robinson in 1951 to win the World Title. He lost the title in a rematch to Robinson but rebounded to defeat Don Cockell to win the British Empire Light Heavyweight Title. When he died in 1966 at the age of 38, his record stood at 66-8-1 with 45 KO's. His autograph on anything is exceedingly rare, especially from this early in his career.
