The Milwaukee Braves were World Champions in 1957 by virtue of their 7 game series victory over the NY Yankees. Lew Burdette was the MVP. 1958 was a rematch; this time with the Yankees prevailing in 7 games. This vintage yellow and green pennant reads "Milwaukee Braves World Champions 1957...1958 World Series". It also lists the Braves' players including several HOFers: Schoendienst, Adcock, Aaron, Spahn, Burdette, Torre, Mathews, Conley and Wyatt among others. Pennant is in VG-EX condition with the bottom tassels still intact. The white lettering is clean and bright with only some very minor imperfections visible. The yellow and green are vibrant and the Indian graphic is clean if not slightly faded. It is 28 1/2" in length sans tassels.
