The official American League ball is clearly dated July 22, 1932. It was the last ball used in a game between the Athletics and the Senators which the Athletics won 8-4. The ball is George ”Rube” Walberg’s 118th career win. Rube Walberg kept the ball and immediately wrote the date of the game, the score and the “batteries” involved in the game. The ball is accompanied by an affidavit and LOA from Rube Walberg’s daughter.
