This is a great collection of 4 x 5" negatives, some glass, dating from 1931- 1937 featuring traditional horseracing, several collections from the Bay area Tanaforan racecourse. There are also a few collections featuring harness racing, some from a track in Golden Gate Park. The entire collection of negatives is from the San Francisco Examiner archives. The negatives are in excellent condition and it is a prime lot for fans of early horse racing.
