Photo journalists of the San Francisco Examiner compiled this group of vintage 4x5" boxing negatives. The earliest, from the 1920's, are glass plates with the images of fighters Babe Herman, Jose Santa, Pinto De Sa and Joe Lang. Also includes fantastic fight images (originals) of Max Baer vs Al Rovay and Fred Apostoli vs Tom Sparr in '37. Many nice negative images of SF area amateur prizefighting in the 1940's as well. Overall in fine condition.
