William Frederick "Bull" Halsey, Jr., was a U.S. naval officer and the commander of the U.S. Third Fleet during WWII in the Pacific theater against the Japanese. This collection of news service photos (93) chronicles his storied life and military career. Included are pictures of the "Bull" as a baby, a young man, with his family, with Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, Jack Benny, and President Truman.
