HOFer Bill Klem is pictured in this 1929 portrait photo from the AP wire service. It is 6" x 8 1/4" and in MT condition. Mr. Klem worked 18 World Series, more than any umpire in history. He was also an innovator and was the first ump to use arm signals while behind the plate. In addition Mr. Klem was one of the first two umpires inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, along with Tommy Connolly in 1953.
