Bronco Nagurski, pro football HOFer and champion professional wrestler, was a Canadian born to Ukrainian immigrant parents in Ontario. His family moved to Minnesota where he was discovered by a University of Minnesota football recruiter who was lost on a recruiting trip and happened to see Bronco plowing a field without a horse! Thus the moniker "Bronco". He was recruited on the spot! He went on to be an all-american and played both offense and defense. This photo shows him in a wrestling pose. Bronco became one of the first football players to successfully transition to pro wrestling. He was also a multiple-time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion.
