Singing star of stage, screen and radio Ethel Merman greets the great Bambino in this 1935 photo just before the Babe is to take the field for the Boston Braves. Merman was one of the biggest recording stars of the time. Photo is 8" x 10" and is in EX/NRMT condition with just a 1/4" tear along the top edge. Babe was in New York to play the NY Giants. He was making his first NY appearance in a Braves uniform after his legendary stint with the Yankees.
