1969 "Hockey" 1st edition hardcover book signed by 16 players including Terry Sawchuk. Sawchuk died under mysterious circumstances in 1970 at age 40 a few weeks after an altercation with teammate and roommate (and pottery aficionado) Ron Stewart over Stewart removing their refrigerator from their home to make room for a pottery kiln. Condition of the book is near mint with very minor bumping on the spine of the hard cover and very slight discoloration on the back cover, pages in near mint condition and book jacket in VG/EX with some edge wear and minor edge tears. All signatures are mint and vintage signed in the early 1970's and include such hockey greats as Maurice "The Rocket" Richard, Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Doug Harvey, Bobby Hull, Gordie Howe and Milt Schmidt of the Bruin's famed "Kraut Line".
