Hugh Casey, Brooklyn Dodger star pitcher is the subject of this collection of news service photographs (15). Sizes range from 7" x 10" to 8" x 11". Conditions range from EX-NRMT. One shows him toting a 200lb black bear, another shows him in a dugout conversation with the great Casey Stengel. His Pacific Coast League playing days in 1945 are highlighted as well. Known as the Fireman, Casey sadly committed suicide in July, 1951.
